Providers Update
UNDER CONSTRUCTION Sioux Empire Child Care Network I truly believe this will work for us much better and hope to gather your support with this endeavor. The Directory will look the same as the Providers With Openings Boxes with the exception that it won't specify specific openings. It will be a list parents can go to when looking for Child Care. The Directory will still be sectioned off into areas of Sioux Falls or surrounding Communities for the convenience of parents. They will click on the area of town or the community they want to find care in. It will still provide the following information: Provider name & contact information. · A description of the care & services provided. · Area of town or the community the provider is located in.
We will ask that the description of care and services remain unedited for as long as possible. Be descriptive and thorough right from the beginning. This need not be changed unless the type of care you provide dramatically changes. Write it as if in stone. The listings and information we have on you will pass right into the SECCN Directory. The only time you would need to contact Cari is if you have dramatically changed the type of care you provide or you are no longer providing child care. We have had a lot complaints from parents that our information in not accurate. Moving to the Directory format is a step in alleviating that problem. Parents in Sioux Falls and surrounding communities will still have a list of providers to work from. Please direct your questions to Cari at caril@sechildcarenetwork.com . Cc: me as well. I am interested in your comments. Cari will continue to do this volunteer work for us which we greatly appreciate. Cari provides full time child care like we all do. Thanks for your time & attention to this matter! Quick Hints: The description statement is a stationary statement describing the care the provider is promising to offer potential clients and children. The statement should not need to change from week to week unless the provider is now providing a different type of specialized care. I will NOT include number of openings in your description.

As of November 1st, 2010, we are going to remove the Providers with Openings Section of our Sioux Empire Child Care Network website. We are going to replace it with a SECCN Member Directory instead.
